John Dungworth and Martyn Booty will be trying to mastermind a win over Walsall this evening |
Town Reserves travel to the Bescot Stadium tonight to face an in-form Walsall side in the Pontin's Holidays League, kick-off 7pm.
Walsall Reserves, managed by Eric McManus, are looking to extend their current run to six unbeaten games by overcoming John Dungworth's side but the Town First-Team Coach will be looking for another good performance from his young second-string to match the one he got last week at home to Port Vale.
The oldest player in the sixteen tonight will be 22-year old striker John McAliskey, with the starting eleven leaving several formations possible for Dungworth.
What is sure is that England under-18 goalkeeper Simon Eastwood will be the Town custodian, but ahead of him it is possible Town will line up with three centre-backs (Killock, McCombe and Wilson) with two wing-backs (Racchi and Hand) or a flat back four (Racchi, McCombe, Wilson and Killock).
Luke Malcher was impressive during last week's Reserve defeat to Port Vale and he will play an attacking role with McAliskey and Academy top-scorer Lucas Akins.
