Aaron Hardy makes his return from injury in tonight's game |
Huddersfield Town Reserves face their counterparts from Port Vale this evening in a 7pm kick-off at the Galpharm Stadium.
The match sees the return of Aaron Hardy from his troublesome ankle injury picked up in the first-team defeat at Nottingham Forest, but otherwise it is the predominantly youthful line-up that you would expect given the spate of injuries that has stricken the first-team recently.
Goalkeeper Simon Eastwood will be protected by a back four of (from left to right) Joe Skarz, John McCombe, Adam Wilson and Danny Racchi with Hardy sitting just in front of the centre-backs in a defensive midfield position.
Ahead of him, James Berrett and Mitchell Bailey partner each other in the centre - as they have done many times for the under-18 side this season, with James Hand and Luke Malcher either side of the under-18 top scorer Lucas Akins.
