Following on from last week's pre-Run for Pounds training advice, Town's Fitness Coach returns to give runners/joggers more tips ahead of the event on Sunday 18 March here at the Stadium.
Tom's Tactics: Week 2
Whilst some people like their own space to 'zone out' in there is no doubt that Run for Pounds will be more enjoyable, be it training or competing, if there is two of you doing it.
A 10km is about getting fit, raising money for a great cause and having fun, and training is much more fun if you can get a training partner. Not only that, you are much less likely to miss training sessions as you feel obliged to your running buddy, and every session missed will hinder you that little bit more come March 18.

Take part in Run for Pounds.
On Sunday March 18 2012 Huddersfield Town FC, Kirklees Active Leisure and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance is holding a 10km run in aid of the 'Keep It Up' campaign.
The run is for people of all ability levels whether you're a budding Olympic hopeful or have never undertook a distance run in your life, taking in the local sights within Huddersfield.
To take part, all the Club is asking for is £15 as entry fee and for participants to try and get as much sponsorship as they're able to!
