Having a New Year clearout? Instead of throwing away any old, unwanted clothing or footwear, why not place it in a yellow 'Keep It Up' recycling bank and help the YAA and our Academy at the same time!
The distinctive blue, white and yellow recycling banks can be found at various locations (below) and will accept any type of clothing and footwear, as well as textiles such as bedding, towels and cushion covers.
Huddersfield Town staff can be seen here with the shoes they collected to help raise money for the campaign, which provides much needed funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which needs £7,200 a day to keep its two helicopters in the air, as well as supporting Town's Academy.
If you would like to organise a shoe collection at your workplace or school, please email robyn.deegan@htafc.com and we'll arrange to supply you with special shoe collection bags which one full, can be put in one of the banks.
Alternatively, if you plan on collecting over twenty bags full, we'll arrange for YAA's recycling partner Bag It Up to come and collect them from your site.
