One of the Huddersfield Town Knights Of Yorkshire has successfully completed the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks Challenge.
Michael Greig completed the challenge earlier this month in 9 hours and has so far raised £260 that will go towards his Knights of Yorkshire fundraising.
The Knight has been a Town fan for 33 years along with the majority of his family. The Three Peaks Challenge was his first Knights Of Yorkshire event and is taking part in the quest alongside his son Jordan Greig who has also signed up.
Michael said "The Keep It Up campaign is a very good cause and I am happy to put the effort in to raise money for it."
Michael explained that his fundraising efforts were sparked when he was teaching Callum Parkinson sportat Rowley Lane Junior and Infant School when he had his accident in June 2009 "I saw that Town had a relationship with Yorkshire Air Ambulance and I was keen to help out as the work that they do is invaluable. I wanted to raise money for Keep It Up so I decided to sign up to be a Knight of Yorkshire!"
His son, Jordan Greig is planning a tag rugby match in Newsome so keep checking the website for details!
