As promised over the weekend, htafc.com is pleased to introduce more of the 'Pedal for Pounds' cyclists!

Remember, the team is setting off at 10am on Wednesday 5th August so join us at the stadium to make sure they get the send off they deserve! We would like to give a big thank you to all cyclists who have worked hard at getting sponsorship money, which will go to the 'Keep It Up' campaign and good luck!

Nick Boyes-Hunter 102Nick Boyes-Hunter, 38 from Cheshire

The ride: Nick's training hit a bit of a snag when his bike was stolen from his garage, but he admits that he was already relying on his years of biking experience as opposed to a rigorous training regime!

Nick has previously completed the London to Paris bike ride and is looking forward to the start of the ride on Wednesday!

He is also Managing Director of Town's Main Club Sponsors from the 2008/09 campaign, Casino Red.

Town this season: Automatic promotion!

Craig Johnson 102Craig Johnson, 17 from Mirfield

The ride: The youngest cyclist at just 17 years old, Craig is participating with his Dad - Graham. A pupil in the Sixth Form at Mirfield Free Grammar, his sole aim is to beat his father to Southend!

Craig has been busy bothering everyone he knows to sponsor him for the ride and is delighted to be supporting such worthy causes as the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Town's Academy.

Town this season: A Town fan for his whole life, Craig is backing the side to finish sixth this season

Marcus Middleton 102Marcus Middleton, 37 from Dewsbury

The ride: Marcus decided to take part in 'Pedal for Pounds' because he preferred it to the abseil last Saturday - he is scared of heights! He's had to get a helmet specially made due to his 'unusually' shaped head!

Marcus is giving up more than most for the ride, as he will not be able to celebrate his birthday too heavily on Thursday evening in Peterborough with the longest leg ahead of him on the following day. He is looking forward to the camaraderie and is happy to be supporting such a worthy cause.

Town this season: Looking forward to a great 2009/10 campaign

Graham Johnson 102Graham Johnson, 45 from Mirfield

The ride: Graham has been training with Town Chairman Dean Hoyle ahead of the ride, along with his son Craig who is also taking part. He found it particularly funny when his son fell into some nettles on one particular training ride - what a good Dad!

Cycling is a big hobby of his and he regularly takes part in coast to coast and charity rides. He is happy to be backing the Chairman and the 'Keep it Up campaign through the ride.

Town this season: A big Town fan, Graham is fully behind Lee Clark and the team this season.

Danny Gubbini 102Danny Gubbini, 29 from Elland

The ride: Danny has been training for the ride around the hills of Elland, both on his bike and through some tough jogging sessions. His old bike failed its service so he will be out on his brand new bicycle for the ride.

He says his sponsorship is going very well and he is looking forward to the challenge - despite not really classing himself as a cyclist!

Town this season: Danny has had a season ticket since his early years and cannot wait for the new season

Graham Stead 102Graham Stead, 44 from Mirfield

The ride: Town fans may know Graham's name from the recent Centenary Matchday. He has been training in a group with Graham and Craig Johnson, but is still worried about the third leg of the trip from Peterborough to Chelmsford!

He has raised over £1000 in sponsorship money so far and says that his friends have been more than willing to back him, as he will be the one who ends up making a fool of himself at the end!

Town this season: Looking forward to a successful campaign

Paul Rhys-Vivian 102Paul Rhys-Vivian, 38 from Dewsbury

The ride: Having taken a break from cycling for the last ten years, Paul will be using his old bike for the ride and is excited at the prospect of the ride to Southend. He likes that it's for a good cause - and that he will save some petrol money!

He had a bit of a training faux-pas recently when he latched onto the back of a race to Featherstone and lost all his friends after a mile!

Town this season: Paul wishes the whole team the best of luck at Southend
