'We have a terrific opportunity here'- those were the words of manager Lee Clark to the Heavy Woollen Supporters Club at their monthly meeting earlier tonight.
Town's boss was joined by his assistant Terry McDermott as he addressed a packed Barclay's Club in Ravensthorpe, with notable attendees including Chairman-elect Dean Hoyle, Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens and former Town greats Geoff Hutt and Roy Ellam.
After initially thanking the supporters in attendance for the support they have given him during his time at the Club, Clark was asked about a variety of subjects including the style of play that the team will adopt, his backroom staff, his previously publicised search for a Development Coach and the January transfer window.
The manager explained how he would like to be at the Club for the next fifteen years and that his aim is to build a legacy for the future at the Galpharm Stadium.
He also told fans that he is hoping to have some positive news regarding impressive young custodian Alex Smithies over the next few days - keep checking htafc.com for that news as it breaks.
Tonight's meeting was open to all Town fans, but being a member of the Huddersfield Town Supporters Association brings many benefits - join online for only £5 a year by clicking HERE!
