netTerriers team manager Gareth Kaye will have a busy notebook on Saturday, slotting new signings striker Ian Kilroy and defender Simon Rout into the established netTerriers formation, as the netTerriers take a strong squad to a hastily arranged game against AFC Halifax, eager to avenge the 2-3 home reversal from the end of last season.
The last time the two sides met at the netTerriers home ground off New Hey Road, an impressive early Richard Parkin shot established the lead which was reversed to a 1-2 score line by half time, with AFC Halifax stretching the lead in the second half before Jamie Makin added a late goal to provide a bit of netTerriers heart in the dying minutes, but resolute Halifax defending restricted any come back beyond that consolation.
Supporters are welcome for the 11am kick off at Savile Park in Halifax; further details are available on www.netTerriers.com.
