PROGRAMME NOTES
Firstly, I would like to congratulate Peter Jackson and the team on a superb victory at Rotherham United midweek.
It was a very exciting game and a terrific performance, particularly after we had been reduced to ten men. There is no doubt we thoroughly deserved the three points and the win has given everyone at the Club a huge boost heading into this afternoon's game. Whilst it certainly cushioned the blow of last week's defeat here at the hands of Brentford, we are not taking anything for granted today and the need to get back to winning ways on home soil is obvious.
As many of you will have heard, I had a really constructive meeting with a group of supporters last week and I look forward to us all being able to build positively on this foundation. All the answers to the questions posed and more besides can be found on our official website, www.htafc.com.
Further to this, we are currently looking at how we can further improve the communication with supporters. Each department head currently tries to deal with all letters and e-mails addressed to them within five working days as set out in our customer charter, which can also be found on the website. There are a number of processes already in place for communication between the Club and fans, such as Development Association meetings and regular sessions with supporters' groups. However, we want to do more to improve in this area. Naturally, we would welcome any input from you, the fans, on the matter. Please email media manager Alisdair Straughan at media@htafc.com with your comments.
We are, of course, looking for our second successive victory this afternoon. After Tuesday's victory over the Millers we are still fighting to make it into the Play-Offs. This is a tough target, but that is what we are all striving for.
Finally, I would like to thank you all for your support both here at the Galpharm and away from home. The support at Rotherham on Tuesday evening was superb and I have no doubt you, the fans, made a vast contribution to the victory. Last Saturday's attendance was the first five figure crowd of 2007 and the biggest home gate since the Oldham game on November 25 last year.
