Edward Raw is the winner of Huddersfield Town's 'Junior Reporter' competition, held in conjunction with the Football League.
Edward was chosen as the standout candidate from over thirty budding reporters from schools in Kirklees who submitted match reports for the Huddersfield Town vs. Walsall and Huddersfield Town vs. Swindon Town games.
He will now represent Huddersfield Town in the national competition, with his winning report being submitted to the national judging panel. The national winner will be announced in mid-May.
Edward is pictured above being presented with his Football League goody bag containing a t-shirt, reporter's note book, Football League pin badge and a free copy of 'Match' magazine by Terry the Terrier.
Town's Head of Communications Alisdair Straughan told htafc.com that Edward will do the Club proud in the national contest:
"I have read Edward's reports from our two games and he is a great writer - he should be very proud of winning the competition. I'm sure he will fare very well in the national contest."
