Over 300 people watched on at the Galpharm Stadium this evening as the Club handed out its awards at the Annual Awards Ceremony.
Guests packed the English Partnership suite as Lee Clark's men were acknowledged for their achievements over the past 12 months.
A run-down of the winners is as follows:
Contribution to the Community Award sponsored by F&G Commercials
WINNER - JAMES BERRETT
The 20-year old midfielder scooped the 'Contribution to the Community' award for his various visits in and around the Huddersfield area over the past season. James has been a tremendous ambassador for the Club both on and off the pitch since breaking into the first-team fold in January 2008 and was presented his award by John Smith of sponsors F&G Commercials.
The other players nominated for this Community-based award were Joe Skarz, Tom Clarke, Michael Collins, Andy Booth and Alex Smithies.
The Antoni's Memorial Academy Player of the Year donated by the Kaminski family
WINNER - ALEX SMITHIES
Although not a scholar at the Academy this season, Alex was given the Academy Player of the Year award by Andrew Kaminski after graduating to the first-team and making a tremendous impact on the national football scene.
The award was originally created when Town's Academy scholars undertook three year scholarships and as such, it was decided that Alex was the most suitable winner.
Media Player of the Year in association with BBC Radio Leeds
WINNER - MICHAEL COLLINS
This award was based on different criteria to the usual 'Player of the Year' awards - it was given to Michael as he has been the best player in Town's squad from a media perspective, e.g. the quality and availability to interviews with the Club's media partners. He was presented his award by the voice of Huddersfield Town - BBC Radio Leeds' Paul Ogden.
Michael has grown into an incredibly thoughtful and articulate individual during his time at the Club and all of Town's media partners thought he was the correct recipient of this award. Others nominated were Nathan Clarke, Andy Butler, Chris Lucketti and Alex Smithies.
The Golden Boot sponsored by Heritage Group
WINNER - GARY ROBERTS
'Robbo' has enjoyed a tremendous debut season for Huddersfield Town and his 11 goals from a wide position have proved invaluable in a season where Town's strike department have not contributed their usual haul. He was presented his award by Mandy Barwick of sponsors the Heritage Group.
Contribution to the Club Award sponsored by Perry's
WINNER - ANDY BOOTH
Boothy won this award in a shortlist of one! The legendary striker had enjoyed an emotional afternoon on his final appearance at the Galpharm Stadium in the afternoon and rightly won this award having scored almost 150 goals for the Club during his near twenty year career, most of which was spent at the Club. He was presented his award by Steve Garth and Peter Woodley of sponsors Perry's.
