Local business converged on the Galpharm Stadium last night to exchange ideas as Town hosted the second Huddersfield Town Business Forum with business partners Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors.

Over 50 companies were represented in the Fantastic Media Suite and listened to a succession of successful speakers including Town's Performance Coach Steve Black, who talked about his career at the highest levels of professional sport, and motivational business speaker Mark Bradley.

Following a networking session and a buffet, attendees then watched Town take on Colchester United.

Huddersfield Town Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson told htafc.com she was delighted with the forum.

"There were over 80 attendees, which was an excellent turn out," Nelson explained. "Chadwick Lawrence was our first business partner, so our relationship with them is of great importance to us; they are part of the Huddersfield Town family and we would like to thank them for their help in the organisation of this and the initial event.

"As a Club, we realise that times are hard given the current economic climate and we are happy that we could help the businesses that support Huddersfield Town to generate some new business through this event."

The Commercial Department at Town are always trying to find new ways to build relationships with local businesses and the innovative nature of the Business Forum is just another example of our dedication to the business community.

Tracy continued:"We are finding that our clients want more from a relationship, therefore we are trying to think of new ideas that are innovative and unique."
