The success of the recent 'Ladies Who Lunch' event at the Galpharm Stadium has resulted in increased business for both sponsor House of Fraser and Huddersfield Town.
The first Ladies Who Lunch in March was very successful and attracted many people to House of Fraser afterwards; however the November event was even more popular.
"I believe 25 consultations have been booked since Ladies Who Lunch," explained James Herbert, PR and Promotions Manager at House of Fraser.
"I was not personally involved with first event in March, but I am really glad I contributed this year as it was a fantastic afternoon. Over 120 guests attended and we have had many people book consultations in the last two weeks."
The two-course meal and fashion show took place in the afternoon of Thursday 6th November. Such events are important to Town; as a community-orientated club, we need the support of local businesses.
"I really enjoyed the afternoon and so did all the staff; they loved it!" James continued. "It was a real team effort. I believe this second one was more successful than last years'. I think it is important for businesses to work together - especially at this time of year."
