Huddersfield Town Club Ambassador Andy Booth arranged a special surprise for Academy President Sir Patrick Stewart OBE on the BBC's 'One Show' last night!

The Mirfield-born actor was the special guest of presenters Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley in the studio and after his support of Town was brought up, the show cut to a live link at the Sports Barn facility on Leeds Road where 'Boothy' was waiting to greet him!

Sir Patrick's support of the Academy was discussed before Boothy prompted three second year Academy scholars - winger Aiden Chippendale, defender Stephen Powell and midfielder Chris Atkinson - to ask their President questions about his career, both on and off the football pitch!

'Boothy' was also asked by Baggies fan Chiles to show his legendary knees on national television!

"We were delighted to help out the One Show when we were asked to arrange this surprise for Sir Patrick," the Club Ambassador told htafc.com today.

"Having a man with such a high profile - and most importantly with such a burning passion for the Club - supporting the Academy will be fantastic and to let a national television audience know about his position with us was a great opportunity.

"I just can't believe I had to get my legs out on BBC One!"
