A very young Huddersfield Town under-18 side lost by a single goal after taking the lead against Derby County at Storthes Hall in the FA Premier Academy League this afternoon.
Under-16 midfielder Jordan Sinnott (pictured) scored his first goal at under-18 level in a team that featured Academy debuts for fellow under-16 players Harrison Blakey at centre-back and Warwick Charlton on the right side of midfield.
Special mention must also go to goalkeeper Jordan Porter; the under-15 shot-stopper played excellently on his under-18 debut.
Graham Mitchell's side are in action again on Saturday when they host Liverpool at Storthes Hall in an 11am kick-off.
Town's Team (3-5-2):
Jordan Porter; Greg Pearson, Josh McClean, Adam Field (Harrison Blakey 46); Aiden Chippendale, Taser Hassan (Michael McCaffery 85), Jordan Sinnott, Chris Atkinson, Ryan Watson (Warwick Charlton 80); Shane Birtles, James Spencer
