THIRD YEAR SCHOLARS

Adam Field
Defender
Born in Huddersfield, third -year scholar Adam attended Almondbury High School and played for Dalton Dynamos before joining the Academy as an under-9.
He missed the start of the 2010/11 campaign following ankle surgery during the summer, but he returned to Graham Mitchell's side for the latter part of the campaign and featured in pre-season for the first team in the current campaign.
SECOND YEAR SCHOLARS

Lloyd Allinson
Goalkeeper
As an under-16 player, Lloyd made 27 appearances for Graham Mitchell's under-18 side whilst still a schoolboy during the 2009/10 season and made his reserve team debut during the 3-1 home win over Leeds United on 3 March 2010. Formerly with Rothwell Town juniors, the Leeds-based goalkeeper joined the Club seven years ago.
Lloyd has been handed a first team squad number ahead of the current campaign.

Harrison Blakey
Defender
A Liversedge-based centre-back, Harrison joined the Club from the Leeds United Academy at the start of 2010 and made his debut for the under-18 side as a half-time substitute during the FA Premier Academy League game against Derby County at Storthes Hall on 23 March 2010.
He played the latter stage of the 2010/11 season in a defensive midfield role for the under-18s.

James Burke
Defender
James is a centre-half by trade and has been with Town since August 2008 after joining from local side Lepton. Based in Shepley, he has already made three starts for the under-18 side before the 2009/10 season, with a further two appearances as a substitute.
Last season he featured much more regularly for the under-18s, playing a large number of games at right back.

Warrick Charlton
Midfielder
Warrick signed his scholarship having already made three appearances for the under-18 side in the 2009/10 season. A winger by trade, he can also play as a centre forward. He also joined Town from Leeds United's Academy before the start of last season.
Warrick was a regular feature for the under-18s last season and scored in a Development Squad friendly at AFC Emley in July.

Matt Crooks
Midfielder
A tall central midfielder, Matt moved back to the Town Academy following a five year spell at Manchester United in April 2008 and completed the last two seasons with the under-15 and under-16 sides.
Matt has been a regular feature for the under-18s in the last two campaigns and was highly prominent in the first-team's 2011/12 pre-season build-up, drawing praise from manager Lee Clark.

Dominic Dickinson
Defender
Dominic is a tall, Leeds-based centre-back who has been with the Town Academy for the last eight years and has captained at several levels. Dom, who can also play at left-back, was a regular for the under-18 side last season.

Max Leonard
Striker
Hailing from Longwood in Huddersfield, Max is a striker who has been with the Academy throughout every age group - from under-9s upwards. Formerly a player for Westend juniors, he missed past of last season through injury but still managed to rack up a large number of games for the under-18s.

David Melling
Midfielder
Dave is a winger who can also play as a forward; formerly with local side Wyke Wanderers, he has been at the Town Academy for eight seasons now. He made his debut for the under-18s as a substitute at Sheffield Wednesday back on November 2009 and made his first start against Sunderland in late April 2010.

Jordan Sinnott
Midfielder
Jordan is a holding central midfield player who is the current captain of the Huddersfield Town under-18 side. He has been with Town since the start of his under-15 season and will be looking forward to his first season leading the side this term.

Josh Windass
Midfielder
Josh is a versatile player who can play across midfield or as a forward. He made his under-18 debut against Sunderland at Storthes Hall on 21 April 2010 and has been with the Town Academy since the start of the under-9 season.
He netted two goals during pre-season and will be looking to kick-on after a stop and start 2010/11 season due to injury.
FIRST YEAR SCHOLARS

Thomas Briggs
Defender
Capable of playing at centre back or right back, Thomas has been with Town since joining as an under-10. He lives in Bradford and played for Bolton Woods before joining the Academy. He unfortunately broke his leg in January, but played the final 30 minutes of the final under-16 game of the season.

Hatib Cham
Striker
Cham was top scorer for the under-18 side this season with eight goals from 19 starts, plus another six substitute appearances. He signed on as a schoolboy for the 2010/11 campaign having missed large portions of last season through injury but he is now fighting fit. Pontefract-born, he is eligible for Gambia through his parentage. He was an unused substitute for the first team during the final League One game of the season against Brentford recently.

George Conway
Midfielder
Brighouse-based George is a promising midfielder who has trained with the Scotland under-16 squad, who he is eligible for due to his family. A former player for Clifton Rangers, he joined Town at under-9 level and has already made two starts and seven substitute appearances for Town's under-18 side.

Ryan Cox
Striker
Picked up from local football in Liverpool, Ryan is a striker who made three substitute appearances for the under-18s this season. He joined the Huddersfield Town Academy in April 2009 at under-15 level.

Duane Holmes
Defender
A versatile player, Duane can play at right back or on the right side of midfield. He comes from Wakefield and played for Kellingley Welfare before joining the Huddersfield Town Academy at under-9 level.

Danny Morton
Midfielder
At one time a player for Battyeford Junior Football Club in Mirfield, midfielder Danny joined Town at under-13 level. He made his under-18 debut this season as a substitute during the resounding home victory over Middlesbrough in April.

Nawfal Muhammed
Defender
Nawfal is a Lindley-based left back who has already made four appearances for the under-18 side. Eligible to play football for Iran through his parentage, he joined Town's Academy at under-9 level having played junior football for Westend Juniors.

Jordan Porter
Goalkeeper
Rastrick-based Jordan has already made five appearances for the under-18 side due to Lloyd Allinson's involvement with the first team squad. Formerly of Rastrick Juniors, he joined the Club as an under-10. During January 2011 he was invited to a two day FA-run course for 'goalkeepers of international promise'.

Ed Wilczynski
Goalkeeper
A goalkeeper from Mount, Ed joined the Huddersfield Town Academy at under-14 level having played junior football for Collegians in Salendine Nook. He is awaiting his under-18 debut, but has been an unused substitute on many occasions. Ed would be able to play for Poland or Ireland thanks to his heritage.

Joe Wright
Defender
A defender from Monk Fryston near Selby, Joe joined the Town Academy in September 2010 at under-16 level having previously played for Collingham. He is an out and out centre back and is awaiting his under-18 debut.
SCHOOLBOYS

Israel Johnson
Defender
A natural right back with electric pace, 'Izzy' has been signed on at the Town Academy as a schoolboy for the past two seasons and has played a good number of games for the under-18s.
