‘Kids Game’ on 4 May proving popular
Huddersfield Town’s famous ‘Town XI v 200 Kids Game’ is proving very popular - with only a handful of places remaining on the kids team!
Over 180 kids have already applied for a place in the '200 Kids' team, which will take on a Town 11 made up of First Team players and managed by Chris Powell and Assistant Manager Alex Dyer!
Town’s Club Ambassador Andy Booth will step in to manage the Kids Team!
The event, which will be sponsored by Practical Car and Van Rental Huddersfield, will see 200 children aged between five and 12 take on the players at the Club’s training facility, PPG Canalside, on Bank Holiday Monday 4 May 2015; and your child could take part!
The Kids Game is FREE for junior Season Card Holders aged between five and 12 and just £5 for non-Season Card Holders aged five to 12. This includes a t-shirt, medal and bottle of water as well as an official photograph emailed to the parent or guardian after the game to treasure forever.
As well as the football matches, there will be lots of other activities happening on the day. Our Football in the Community department will be putting the children through their paces in warm up games, penalty shootouts and more. PPG Canalside will be serving up hot food and there will be plenty of photo opportunities with Terry the Terrier.
Huddersfield Town’s Supporter Partnerships Manager Robyn Deegan commented:
“This is the third ‘Town XI v 200 Kids Game’ we have done, and it is always a brilliant event, but for the 200 children to be able to take on current Huddersfield Town players this season makes it even more special for everyone involved.
“It is sure to be a great spectacle, and I hope to see lots of Town fans turning out to watch the event at PPG Canalside on Bank Holiday Monday. I would also like to thank Practical Car and Van Rental Huddersfield for their valued sponsorship of the event.”
To enter your child, please click HERE to download the registration form, complete all details and return via post to: 200 Kids Match, Huddersfield Town, The John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield, HD1 6PX or hand in at the Stadium Ticket Office or the Stadium Superstore. You will then be sent an information pack via email in due course.
