Action shots from the Yorkshire derby win

Town recorded their biggest win of the 2013/14 season at the expense of relegation-threatened Barnsley in the latest Yorkshire derby of the campaign at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday.

After a bright first 10 minutes from the visitors, Town took control and the returning Keith Southern opened the scoring just before the half hour mark.

Danny Ward made it two shortly afterwards thanks to excellent work from Man of the Match Nahki Wells and the Terriers turned the screw during the second-half, with further goals from Adam Hammill, Adam Clayton (penalty) and substitute Sean Scannell.
