DEADLINE EXTENSION FOR JUNIOR 'DESIGN A FLAG' COMP

26 November 2014

Town teams up with the North Stand Loyal

Junior supporters have been given more time to enter the 'Design a Flag' competition being run by Huddersfield Town, in association with the ‘North Stand Loyal’ supporters group.

The competition is free and open to fans aged between 4 and 15 years old, who should draw their design by hand on an A3 or A4 sheet of white paper.

Huddersfield Town should be incorporated in the design; be that by the use of the Club crest, a past or present Huddersfield Town player, or even Terry the Terrier - remember to be original and colourful!

Entrants should include in block capitals on the reverse of the design their name, age, date of birth, address, telephone number and parent or guardian’s email address.

There are two winners’ categories; one for children aged four to nine and one for children aged 10 to 15. The two winning designs will be transferred onto two 4 x 3.5 metre flags that will be produced and displayed on a Huddersfield Town match day. The two winning children and a family member will also be invited to be guests of honour at a Town home match during the 2014/15 season.

The competition will be judged by Andy Booth, HTAFC Club Ambassador, and a representative from the North Stand Loyal group.

By entering the competition, entrants accept that their poster can be used for promotional purposes by Huddersfield Town and the North Stand Loyal. The judging panel decision is final.

The new, extended closing date for entries is 5pm on Thursday 11 December.

Please return your entries either via post by to Andy Booth, Supporter Partnerships Department, Huddersfield Town, The John Smith’s Stadium, Stadium Way, Huddersfield, HD1 6PX, or hand in at the Ticket Office at the Stadium or HTAFC Megastore in the Packhorse centre.
