MONKEYFEST SUPPORTS KEEP IT UP

29 May 2015

Local beer festival to raise funds for YAA & HTAFC

Once again, the Monkey Club in Armitage Bridge, Huddersfield is supporting the Keep It Up campaign through its annual ‘Monkeyfest’ beer festival.

Monkeyfest 2015 will take place on the weekend of 11 and 12 July 2015.

The popular beer festival, now in its ninth year, has previously paid homage to Town legend Andy Booth with the ‘Booth 150 Legend Bitter’ and honoured the Club’s link with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance with their ‘Keep It Up’ brew.

Last year their special brew was called 'Old Leeds Road' and there will be another specially brewed drink on offer this year!

For the fourth successive year, funds generated from the festival and other events across the weekend will go towards the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign, which raises valuable funds for the life-saving YAA charity as well as Town’s Academy.

Monkeyfest begins on Saturday 11 July at noon, going on until 10pm and continues Sunday 12 July at noon until 9pm. Entry is just £2, and will feature a host of live music as well as a food and visitors can enjoy over sixty beers and ciders.
