Vaughan and Scannell return to starting XI

Manager Chris Powell has made two changes to his starting XI for today’s 3pm Sky Bet Championship kick-off at Charlton Athletic.

With Nahki Wells missing due to the shoulder injury he picked up in the collision with Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici on Tuesday night, James Vaughan comes back into the starting line-up.

The other change comes in midfield, where fit-again Sean Scannell is straight back into the XI having been rested with hamstring tightness in midweek; he takes the place of Tommy Smith.

There’s also a first appearance of the season in the match day 18 for Irish left back Jake Carroll, who is among the substitutes today.
