Second year striker Rekeil Pyke scored to put Town’s Under-18 side ahead in a pre-season friendly against Sunderland at PPG Canalside this morning, but the visitors came back to win the fixture courtesy of two second-half goals.
Striker Pyke, 17, was brought down for a 40th minute penalty that he converted from 12 yards in the latest pre-season friendly of the campaign.
