FIREWORKS AT PPG CANALSIDE TONIGHT!

25 October 2015

Pay on the evening for the event

- Huddersfield Town Firework Spectacular returns
- Event to be held at PPG Canalside on Sunday 25 October
- Lots of fun for all the family!

The annual Huddersfield Town Firework Spectacular, held in association with club partner Standard Fireworks, returns to PPG Canalside tonight (Sunday 25 October 2015) and this year there is even more going on for the Family!

Gates will open at 5pm, with club partner Pulse 1 starting the evening’s live music and entertainment off with its roadshow.

There will also be fun fair rides for all ages, whilst West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue will also be in attendance to add some fun to the night!

Other activities for children will come courtesy of the Club’s ‘Football in the Community’ team. Everyone’s favorite mascot ‘Terry the Terrier’ and Huddersfield Town First Team stars will also be on hand to say hello to young Town fans in attendance.

Traditional food and drink will be available to enjoy courtesy of the PPG Canalside Kitchen, whilst in a change to the inaugural event in 2014 there will also be a selection of hand-picked local companies selling traditional foods, cheeses, crafts and accessories as well as stalls from the Club’s charity partners – a great opportunity to get some early Christmas presents!

The firework display will commence at approximately 7.30pm.

Huddersfield Town’s Events Coordinator Katie Barraclough explained:

After the success of last year’s event, when over 2,500 people attended, we wanted to make this year’s Firework Spectacular even better and so have added the extra market stall element to the event.

“It is fantastic that, working with club partner Standard Fireworks, the Club is able to put on such a great, family-orientated event.”

Please note that there will be no parking available on site at PPG Canalside, although a limited number of disabled spaces will be available.

The event is pay on the day with admission priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions (over 60s and under-18s).
