U21S HOST SHEFF UTD ON MONDAY
25 January 2015
Town’s U21 side takes on Sheffield United on Monday afternoon at the John Smith’s Stadium in the U21 Professional Development League 2 North.
Town currently occupy second place in the table and could move up to the summit with a win over the Blades on Monday.
Frankie Bunn’s suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Derby County last week as they were knocked out of the Final Third Development League Cup.
However, the young Terriers have been in good form this season and won their last league outing against Rotherham United by the same score line.
Town’s opponents – who are managed by former Blades captain Chris Morgan – come in to the game off the back of a resounding 7-0 victory over Coventry City.
Despite the game being an U21 fixture, rules allow for a maximum of three outfield players and one goalkeeper over the age of 21 to play.
The game kicks off at 1pm and admission will be £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
