2016/17 #WagnerRevolution Season Cards are being snapped up by Huddersfield Town fans across the country!
Supporters from as far away as the Isle of Man, Bournemouth, Glasgow and Bristol have all bought Season Cards, which are still available for just £179 adults in all areas until the Club reaches 15,000 sold.
As always, the majority of Season Cards – currently 59% of the total – have been bought by supporters in the HD postcode area, but which area is leading the way?
It’s HD9 that is leading the way on Season Card sales locally, with fans from the Meltham, Holmfirth, Upperthong and Holmbridge areas buying just under 10% of the total sold to date.
HD5 (Almondbury, Dalton, Kirkheaton, Moldgreen, Rawthorpe) and HD3 (Lindley, Longwood, Marsh, Milnsbridge, Paddock and Salendine Nook) follow closely behind in second and third places respectively with 9.1% and 8.8% of total sales.
HD8 (Clayton West, Denby Dale, Emley, Kirkburton, Lepton, Scissett, Shelley, Shepley and Skelmanthorpe) covers around 8.1% of sales, whilst HD4 (Berry Brow, Cowlersley, Crosland Moor, Farnley Tyas, Netherton, Newsome, Lowerhouses) is next with 6.2%.
HD7, HD6 and HD2 have sold roughly the same number of Season Cards – around 4.5% - whilst HD1 accounts for roughly 1.7% of sales.
Outside Huddersfield, most Huddersfield Town Season Card sales have come from Wakefield postcodes (18.81%), with other popular areas including Halifax (5.06%), Bradford (4.63%) and Leeds (2.58%).
Huddersfield Town’s Ticket Office Manager Sue Beaumont commented:
“The Ticket Office staff are often asked where our supporters are based, so we thought it would spark a bit of friendly debate to release these figures!
“It’s no surprise that most Season Card sales come from Huddersfield, but to actually see which areas the sales come from makes for interesting reading.
“It’s also usual to see such strong sales in the WF postcode region, as there has always been a strong core of Huddersfield Town fans in the Heavy Woollen region.”
