Cyclists depart Huddersfield for Blackpool

Huddersfield Town’s ‘Pedal for Pounds 6’ bike ride, sponsored by Orchard Energy, got under way at Castle Hill on Friday morning!

This season’s ride has seen around 250 supporters get on their bikes to raise money for the Huddersfield Town Academy and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, beginning at a sunny but chilly Castle Hill on Friday morning.

Watched and supporters by friends and family, cyclists registered from 8am and began to depart in their groups an hour later, after a big ‘class picture’ in front of the iconic Huddersfield landmark.
