P4P7 LAUNCH NIGHT NEXT WEEK!

10 November 2015

Event on Tuesday 17 November

- Plans for P4P7 to be revealed
- Event at PPG Canalside on Tuesday 17 November
- Come down and find out what's in store!

Want to find out what the Club has in store for the seventh instalment of Pedal for Pounds, sponsored by Orchard Energy? Then come along to PPG Canalside on Tuesday 17 November at 7pm and all will be revealed!

Rumours have been circulating since the start of the season as to the destination and route of the Club’s seventh annual ‘Pedal for Pounds’ fundraising bike ride, so anyone thinking of getting involved and taking part is welcome to come along and find out more.

The informal evening will also be a chance for experienced P4P cyclists to meet up with their teammates, the support team and event organisers to relive some moments of past events. There will also be short presentations from HTAFC Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and YAA Director of Fundraising Paul Gowland.

HTAFC Club Ambassador Andy Booth, who has taken part in five of the six P4P events, commented:

“As soon as the fixtures are released I get asked where the bike ride will be going to and this season has been no exception.

"The event on 17 November will be a good chance for any newcomers to come along and see what it’s all about and to find out where we’re going this season.

"The ride has a theme this year which I can’t say too much about but all will be revealed on the night! We’re all looking forward to getting back on our bikes to raise even more for our Academy and the YAA.”

So far over £1.3 million has been raised for the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign which benefits both the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity and the HTAFC Academy, with the majority coming from the P4P bike rides.
