Proud unbeaten streak comes to an end
An eight game unbeaten streak for Town’s Under-18 side came to an end at PPG Canalside on Saturday morning at the hands of visitors Nottingham Forest.
Forest’s youngsters scored the first goal of the game, but Tony Carss’ side fought back early in the second-half – forcing an opponent into an own goal.
Unfortunately, the young Terriers conceded another poor goal from a defensive point of view and couldn’t fight back a second time.
The Under-18s start their FA Youth Cup campaign on Wednesday night when Crystal Palace visit the John Smith’s Stadium for a 7pm kick-off. Admission at the gate is priced at £4 adults and £2 concessions.
