Huddersfield Town currently has seven players out on loan – and htafc.com has rounded up how they’re getting on at their respective clubs.

Jordy Hiwula, Walsall (pictured above)

21 year-old attacker Jordy has made eight starts and three substitute appearances for League 1 loan club Walsall so far, scoring three goals.

Two of his goals secured important back-to-back wins at Gillingham and at home to Southend in mid-April.

Jordy came on as a late substitute on Tuesday evening in Walsall’s 2-1 home win over Shrewsbury; a result that secured Walsall’s Play-Off place and kept hopes of automatic promotion alive.

Going into Monday’s game at home to Fleetwood Town, Walsall is just three points away from second placed Burton Albion in League 1’s final automatic promotion slot.

James Vaughan, Birmingham City

Striker James is yet to score for loan club Birmingham City in six starts and nine substitute appearances.

He hasn’t featured on the pitch since the Blues’ defeat at Charlton on 2 April.

As has already been announced, James will join the second city club permanently in the summer at the expiration of his Huddersfield Town contract.

Joe Wright, Accrington Stanley

Wales Under-21 international Joe, a centre back, has made 21 starts and one substitute appearance for promotion-chasing Accrington Stanley in Sky Bet League 2.

He hasn’t played since 20 February due to a knee injury, but Joe has recently returned to training and could feature in the run-in.

William Boyle, York City

Over two spells, centre back William has started 12 games for the Minstermen, who have now officially been relegated from the Football League.

Boyle was actually sent off in his most recent appearance; a 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient on 2 April.

As his Youth Loan allows, the defender has subsequently played twice for Town’s Under-21 side.

Joe Wilkinson, Bradford Park Avenue

Defender Joe joined Bradford Park Avenue on 24 March 2016 and has made six starts as the Club has secured its place in the Vanarama National League North for next season.

Joe’s seventh appearance could come at home to Nuneaton Town tonight.

As has already been confirmed, Joe will leave Huddersfield Town at the conclusion of his current contract at the end of the season.

Ben Holmes, Hyde United

Midfielder Ben joined Evo Stik Northern Premier club Hyde United on 15 January and has subsequently scored one goal in 20 games; that came in a 5-1 defeat at Stourbridge.

During his time at the Club, Manager Gary Lowe has left and been replaced by former Oldham and Halifax boss Darren Kelly.

Ben is another player who will leave Huddersfield Town at the end of the season.

Ed Wilczynski, Bishop Auckland

Goalkeeper Ed re-joined promotion-chasing Bishop Auckland on 23 March after a successful loan spell and has been a regular in goal when available.

He will also leave the Terriers at the conclusion of the campaign.
