CHOOSE A NAME FOR THE 'KEEP IT UP' RACE HORSE

17 February 2016

Winning entrant will get a share in the filly

- Town fans challenged to name a race horse
- Winner will get a share in the filly
- Funds raised go to the 'Keep It Up' campaign

Racing syndicate Blue Grey Chevron is giving Town fans the chance to name a racehorse as well as gain a share in it, and help the Club’s ‘Keep It Up campaign’ at the same time!

Lifelong Town fan Richard Ward, 34, is running the competition to name the two year old filly and is offering a 1% share to the person who comes up with the best Town-related suggestion.

To enter, fans should text the word ‘horse’ followed by the name suggestion to 82070. Texts cost £1.50 plus normal network charge, with half of this going to the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign which benefits both the YAA charity and the HTAFC Academy.

The winning name will be chosen by HTAFC Club Ambassador Andy Booth.

Boothy visited the horse at its stables in Doncaster and said: “This is a fun idea which should raise money for our campaign - every little helps. Good luck to everyone who enters!”

For more on the syndicate, ring Richard Ward on 07432 055232 or email richard@bluegreychevron.co.uk. To vote for the horse’s name text the word ‘horse’ followed by your suggestion to 82070. Texts cost £1.50 plus normal network charge. Around 75p in every pound will go to the charity. The closing date is February 29. A 5% share in the Town horse costs £250 plus £75 a month all-inclusive or 10% is £500 plus £150 a month. Free owners’ badges are available every time the horse runs.
