STEAD RETURNS TO BRADFORD ON LOAN

8 January 2015

Striker moves back to the Coral Windows Stadium

Jonathan Stead has today re-joined Bradford City on a Standard Loan until the end of the 2014/15 season.

This will be the third spell on loan with the Bantams for the 31 year-old striker, who just returned from his latest Emergency Loan spell at the Coral Windows Stadium at the weekend.

His current contract at Huddersfield Town expires at the end of the 2014/15 season and so the loan marks the end of his Town career.

Stead re-joined Huddersfield Town on a free transfer in the summer of 2013 from relegated Bristol City after starting his career at ‘The Yorkshire Club’.

In his second spell at the Club he has made a total of 10 starts and 13 substitute appearances, scoring three goals.

The striker is a graduate of the Club’s Academy and scored 22 goals in 54 league games during his first spell before joining Premier League Blackburn for £1.25m.

Huddersfield Town wishes Jon all the best for the future.
