Defender believes the wins will come again under David Wagner

James Husband thinks his best is yet to come in a Huddersfield Town shirt after extending his Emergency Loan spell at the Club on Monday.
The Middlesbrough left back is now set to stay a Terrier until 9 April 2016 inclusive and thinks his performances will only improve after adjusting to life under Head Coach David Wagner.
“This was always the plan; to do the initial month and see where it went from there,” James told htafc.com.
“I’m used to the whole structure of the Club now, which is very different to normal, and I’m looking forward to carrying on.
“I know people have the impression that footballers don’t do much, but what we are doing here is a lot different to the norm. The later and longer schedule here affects everything; you eat at different times, for example. It does affect you and you have to get used to it.
“This is the Head Coach’s way – and you can see it is working.”
On the pitch, Husband’s performance at Preston North End last weekend was arguably his best to date in Town colours; something he puts down to extended time on the training pitch at PPG Canalside.
“I’ve spoken to the boss (David Wagner) about everything, as it really is different. It’s taken a few weeks of good training to understand how he wants me to play and now it is familiar.
“My aim is to play as many games as possible; that’s why I’ve come here. I’ve not played as many games as I would have wanted in the last few weeks, but now I’m looking to kick on and see what happens.”
James says that Town’s focus this week has been on making the steps necessary to turn Town’s performances into results:
“On Saturday we were 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go and we should really be seeing that out.
“We’ve talked in depth this week about the little things, like individual errors, that have cost us. They’ve been happening in key areas and in this league, they cost you.
“The performances are there – I think everyone can see that – but now it’s about fine tuning things and making the errors as small and as few as possible so they have no effect on the game. That will give us the chance to get as many points as we can.”
This weekend Town travels to Nottingham Forest, with the hosts unbeaten in the last 13 Sky Bet Championship games. However, Husband has no fear.
“If anything, that is an incentive for us to go there and get a result. We’ll go there to do the things we have been,” he continued.
“I have no doubt that the way we’ve been playing recently will see us get the results.”
