Huddersfield Town’s Under-18 side has been drawn away to Chelsea in the Third Round Proper of this season’s FA Youth Cup.

The game will take place on Wednesday 16 December; 7.05pm kick-off at Aldershot Town's EBB Stadium. Admission will be £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.

The game is a rematch from last season's FA Youth Cup, when the Terriers were knocked out by Chelsea - the eventual winners of the competition - in the Fourth Round. Highlights of the game are below via HTTV!

Tony Carss’ side has a good recent record in the competition. It reached the Fourth Round of the competition last season before losing to the Blues, whereas the season before the young Terriers reached the quarter final before losing narrowly at Fulham.

Third Round opponent Chelsea has won the last two FA Youth Cups, becoming the first side in the competition's long history to retain the Cup in the process.

As a Category 1 Academy (Town is Category 2), Chelsea's Under-18s play in the Barclays U18 Premier League South. The side, managed by Joe Edwards, currently sits top with 30 points from 13 games.

Last season's 6-1 win for Chelsea was the first ever meeting between the two sides in the competition.

Huddersfield Town's best achievement in the competition came in 1974, when it became the first Yorkshire side to reach the final; losing to Tottenham Hotspur over two legs.
