YOUNG GOALKEEPER LOANED TO HYDE

5 February 2015

Ed Wilczynski joins fellow Town player

Huddersfield Town’s Development Squad goalkeeper Ed Wilczynski has today joined Hyde FC on a Youth Loan until 8 March 2015.

Ed joins his fellow young professional Ben Holmes at the Club, who moved on loan to Hyde last week (click HERE for full information).

This will be a third loan spell away from the Club for Ed, who has previously played on loan at FC United and Trafford FC.

He now joins the Tigers, who currently sit bottom of the Vanarama Conference North table ahead of a game at home to Boston United on Saturday.

Hyde’s Assistant Manager is former Town player and coach Martyn Booty.

Huddersfield Town’s Head of Goalkeeping Nick Colgan explained:

“This is a good step in Ed’s development; he will be playing games in a division higher than his previous loan spell at Trafford, which will be a bigger challenge for him.

“It’s a good opportunity for Ed to go out and play games. His game time in our Under-21s has been limited this season and now he’ll get good experience of playing in games that really mean something.”
