Town’s Under-18 side came from behind to defeat visitors Crewe Alexandra in the latest Professional Development League 2 North game of the season at PPG Canalside on Saturday morning.
Second year striker Rekeil Pyke gave Tony Carss’ side a 13th minute lead, but the visitors struck back hard and were ahead barely seven minutes later through goals from Dale and Higham.
Town trailed at the interval, but Rarmani Edmonds-Green (pictured above) levelled the scores three minutes into the second half with his first goal for the Club, heading home a corner.
Midfielder Lewis O’Brien’s great strike on the hour mark put Town ahead and proved to be the last goal of the game as Carss’ side finished strongly.
Highlights of the game will appear on HTTV on Monday!
