WATCH HIGHLIGHTS OF COADY’S YEAR

26 May 2015

Match action from Town’s Young Player of the Year

Conor Coady was named Huddersfield Town’s ‘Young Player of the Year’ at the 2015 Annual Awards ceremony earlier this month, so we’ve put together some video highlights of his campaign!

The midfielder, now 22 years old, enjoyed a great first season with the Club after joining permanently from Premier League Liverpool in early August 2014.

He came off the bench in Town’s opening day game against AFC Bournemouth and went on to feature in 45 of the Club’s 46 Sky Bet Championship games. Over the course of the season, only Player of the Year Jacob Butterfield and goalkeeper Alex Smithies played more league minutes than Conor!

Coady scored three important goals with a stunner at Wolves and another away goal at Wigan securing three points on both occasions, on top of a great header in the 2-2 Boxing Day draw at Rotherham United.

Conor also got three assists during his debut Championship season and his average of 45 passes per game was only second to midfield colleague Butterfield.

Watch some of the highlights of Conor’s first season in the blue and white stripes below via the Club’s YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/officialhtafc!
