The youngest Huddersfield Town Under-18 side of the season recorded a good 1-0 win at Colchester United in the Professional Development League 2 on Saturday morning.
After his hat-trick last weekend, it was midfielder Luca Colville (pictured) who netted the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute to settle the fixture in Essex for what was the Under-18s’ sixth win in seven games.
Led by Professional Development Coach Leigh Bromby, as Tony Carss travelled with the First Team to Derby County, Town’s starting line-up included three Under-16 players, with goalkeeper Ryan Schofield on his full debut.
The XI also included an Under-16 trialist in midfielder Jai Grant of Newcastle United, with another Under-16 player – Oliver Dyson – getting his U18 debut as a second half sub.
