POWELL MEETS CLUB PARTNERS!

Local children come down for their own team photo

- Chris Powell meets Huddersfield Town's club partners
- Team photo taken before Deportivo friendly
- Youngsters form the Guard of Honour

HTAFC Manager Chris Powell took part in a team photo with a difference prior to last week’s pre-season friendly against Deportivo de La Coruna when he was joined by children from Town’s junior club partners!

One child from each of HTAFC’s Club Partners was invited to represent their club in the photo wearing their kit, and later take part in the Guard of Honour as the teams entered the field of play.

The children were also joined in the photo by Mark Young of HTAFC Club Partnership sponsors, John Walton Machine Tools Ltd; for more information click HERE.

Town Manager Chris Powell commented:

“It was great to see so many local children down at the John Smith’s ahead of our friendly against Deportivo de La Coruna, proudly representing their junior football clubs.

“The Club is rightly proud of its privileged position in the community and it is fantastic that we’re encouraging the next generation of youngsters to get involved and come to games at Huddersfield Town at such a young age.”
