Game to be played before 17 January 2015

Huddersfield Town’s Under-18 side has been drawn away to Chelsea in the Fourth Round Proper of this season’s FA Youth Cup.

An exact date for the game is still to be confirmed, but it must be played before Saturday 17 January 2015.

Fans should note that Chelsea has permission to play its home games in this competition at Aldershot Town’s Recreation Ground, although the venue is still to be confirmed.

Tony Carss’ side reached the Fourth Round of the competition by beating Crystal Palace 2-0 at the John Smith’s Stadium on Wednesday evening courtesy of goals from Jack Boyle and Rekeil Pyke. Highlights from the game are below.

Meanwhile, Chelsea – winners of the FA Youth Cup last season – won 2-0 at Leeds United.

As a Category 1 Academy (Town is Category 2), Chelsea's Under-18s play in the Barclays U18 Premier League South. The side, managed by Joe Edwards, currently sits top with 29 points from 14 games.

This will be the first time the two clubs have ever met in the competition.
