- Nahki Wells named BWF Player of the Year

The Bermudian striker received the most votes from BWF members after an excellent season that has heralded 18 goals in all competitions.

Centre back Joel Lynch finished second in the voting.

Nahki's won two of the BWF's monthly accolades too. Dean Whitehead is the only other player with two awards, whilst Emyr Huws won the first of the current campaign, Jamie Paterson the Januaryaward and Jonathan Hogg the previous award for February 2016.

Nahki also won three awards at the 2016 Huddersfield Town Annual Awards ceremony on Sunday; the Hargreaves Memorial Trophy Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and Golden Boot award.

Blue & White Foundation member Andrew Armitage from Mirfield voted for Nahki and was drawn at random to meet him before the Sky Bet Championship game at home to Brentford on Saturday 7 May 2016 to present him with his champagne.

Andrew has also won a commemorative signed photo and tickets for Town's match day Stripes Bar.
