Charles nets in Development Squad win
A solitary goal from forward Jake Charles was enough to give Town’s Development Squad the win at Barnsley in the Professional Development League 2 North on Monday afternoon.
The Academy graduate netted in the 34th minute of the game, collecting a pass from midfielder Duane Holmes on the edge of the 18 yard box before knocking the ball past the left back and finishing right footed into the bottom left corner.
