U21s HOST BARNSLEY TODAY

8 December 2014

1pm kick-off at PPG Canalside

Huddersfield Town’s Under-21 side is back in action on Monday 8 December when it hosts visiting Barnsley at PPG Canalside; 1pm kick-off.

Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn will want his side to extend its superb run of form encompassing nine wins and a draw from its last 11 games in all competitions.

The young Terriers are top of the Professional Development League 2 North table having accumulated 25 points from the opening 12 games

Opponents Barnsley, managed by former left back Paul Heckingbottom, sit bottom of the division with five points from 11 matches.

The two Under-21 sides have already met this campaign, with Town defeating Barnsley 1-0 at the John Smith’s Stadium in early October in the U21 Premier League Cup thanks to a goal from striker Flo Bojaj.

There is no admission fee to watch the game at PPG Canalside, but supporters are instead asked to make a donation to the ‘All Together Town’ initiative that aims to improve the home match day experience; click HERE for full info.
