Defender’s stay at HTAFC comes to an end
Huddersfield Town defender Anthony Gerrard has today joined Sky Bet League 1 club Oldham Athletic on an Emergency Loan until the end of the 2014/15 season.
His current contract at Huddersfield Town expires at the end of the 2014/15 season and so the loan marks the end of his Town career.
Anthony joined Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2012 from Cardiff City. He made a total of 87 appearances during his first two seasons at the Club, but has made just one start and three substitute appearances in the current campaign.
Those four appearances came under current Manager Chris Powell, but he hasn’t featured for the First Team since he came on as a half-time substitute during the Club’s FA Cup defeat at home to Reading on 3 January 2015.
Huddersfield Town wishes Anthony all the best for the future.
