ALL TOGETHER TOWN MEETING NOTES

2 September 2015

Details of latest meeting released

Notes from the August meeting at the John Smith’s Stadium have been released.

This was the 12th ATT Voices Panel meeting; and the first which was dedicated solely to match day catering after requests from the Voices Panel at the last meeting in May (click HERE to read May’s notes).

12 members of the Voices Panel were in attendance as well as several HTAFC staff members including Operations Director Ann Hough, Marketing Coordinator Jonathan Wilkinson and voluntary Supporter Liaison Officer Nathan Hosker.

The John Smith’s Stadium catering company, Sodexo presented to the panel on its plans for the 2015/16 season including changes to the food and drink offer, the introduction of the new HD1 Café Bar, its kiosk rebrand, staffing changes and communication strategy.

The presentation was followed by discussion which covered topics such as supporter feedback, food and drink service for those situated in disabled areas and other specific idea like the possibility of introducing express beer tokens in certain stands.

Those present then took part in a tasting session in the concourse, sampling some of Sodexo’s planned match day ‘special offer’ food and drinks.

Since the ATT meeting the Club has entered into an innovative new partnership with Kirklees Stadium Development Limited - who own and operate the John Smith’s Stadium - and Sodexo, its catering partner since 2014. (Full details click HERE)

Sodexo has become our “Official Catering Partner”

For the first time in the 20-year history of the John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield Town will now receive money directly from the catering operation on its home match days. Thanks to this new partnership, every penny spent at John Smith’s Stadium on food and drink in concourses and hospitality, boxes and suites on a Town match day or at Town stadium events will bring a real and direct cash benefit to Town. Cash will come into the Club from the sales and the more that is spent, the bigger the direct cash benefit to the Club.

This partnership is a fundamental of improving the experience for our fans at the John Smith’s Stadium. Lots of time and focus will be spent on improving the standard of quality throughout the concourse and the hospitality offered here at the Stadium.

We are always looking for supporters who want to get involved with ATT and help make a real difference. Should you wish to be part of the ATT Online panel and contribute and give feedback to surveys via email in the future, please email alltogethertown@htafc.com with your name, address, postcode, date of birth and client reference number and we will add you to the list.
