Adam Hammill has today departed Huddersfield Town with immediate effect after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The 27 year-old winger’s contract was due to run until 30 June 2016.
The Liverpudlian initially joined the Club on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2012. He made six starts and 10 substitute appearances in that spell, scoring twice, before returning to his parent club during the January 2013 window.
Adam subsequently joined ‘The Yorkshire Club’ permanently for an undisclosed fee in June 2013, signing a three year contract. He made 49 appearances in the 2013/14 season, finishing top of the Club’s assist chart.
Under Chris Powell’s management, he made one start and one substitute appearance at the start of the 2014/15 season before leaving to join fellow Sky Bet Championship side Rotherham United on loan, where he made four starts and 10 substitute appearances.
He has played 18 competitive minutes for the First Team this season across two substitute appearances.
