ACADEMY PLAYERS TO BE OFFERED PRO DEALS

9 February 2016

Trio of players offered pro terms for 2016/17

- Dylan Cogill, Jamie Spencer & Sam Warde to be offered pro terms
- Regan Booty, Jack Boyle, Jacob Hanson & Rekeil Pyke already contracted
- Adam Porritt not offered a pro contract

Three of Huddersfield Town’s second year Academy scholars are set to be offered their first professional contracts with the Club.

Left-sided centre back Dylan Cogill and central midfielders Jamie Spencer (pictured) and Sam Warde will be offered their first professional deals at Huddersfield Town and, should they accept, will move into the Club’s U21 Development Squad next season working with Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn.

They will join four fellow second year scholars – Regan Booty, Jack Boyle, Jacob Hanson and Rekeil Pyke – who have already signed professional contracts with the Club.

At the same time, their second year colleague Adam Porritt will not offered a professional contract and will now leave the Club at the end of the season.

A decision on the future second year Academy scholar Adam Edgar – an Australian striker who received international clearance to play for the Club in January 2016 – will be made in due course.

The Club would like to thank Adam Porritt for his efforts and wishes him all the best for the future.
