ACADEMY PLAYERS TO BE OFFERED PRO DEALS

Three second year scholars to be offered contracts

Three of Huddersfield Town’s second year Academy scholars will be offered their first professional contracts with the Club.

Goalkeeper Tadhg Ryan, centre back Fraser Horsfall (pictured above) and left sided defender Jack Senior will be offered their first professional deals at Huddersfield Town and, should they accept, will move into the Club’s U21 Development Squad next season working with Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn.

They will join three fellow second year scholars who are Under-18 teammates, Danny Kane, Liam Coogans and Ronan Coughlan, who have already signed professional contracts with the Club.

At the same time, three of their second year colleagues will not offered a professional contract and will now leave the Club at the end of the season; defenders Brad Carroll, Nathaniel Pells and midfielder Sheiden Rodgers.  Ben Atkinson, who has operated as a third year scholar during the 2014/15 season, will also leave the Club.

The Club would like to thank Ben, Brad, Nathaniel and Sheiden for their efforts and wish them all the best for the future.
