Iconic video on sale ahead of 20 Year Reunion
Huddersfield Town’s ’20 Year Reunion’ event is tonight – and now the Club’s Retail Department has just the video to get you in the mood!
In celebration of the event, which will see the players reunite for the first time since the dramatic 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers at Wembley to seal promotion under Neil Warnock, the Club’s shops will stock a limited edition run of the iconic ‘A New Beginning’ in DVD format.
The DVD recounts the ups and downs of the 1994/95 campaign, which culminated in that memorable penalty shootout at Brentford’s Griffin Park and the Wembley final, when Huddersfield boys Andy Booth and Chris Billy sealed passage back to the old Endsleigh League Division One.
Boothy, who was capped twice by England Under-21s in that season, has watched the DVD to refresh the memories of that brilliant season ahead of the reunion dinner and commented:
“I’ve really enjoyed watching the DVD; it’s brought back some amazing memories of the season ahead of our 20 Year Reunion dinner.
“All the lads I’ve spoken to look back on that season with fond memories.”
The DVDs are available to buy in the Stadium Superstore and the Packhorse Centre shop now priced at £9.99 each, with any remaining available to buy on the night of the reunion.
