FAN MEMORIAL 2015 vs PRESTON

20 November 2015

Initiative planned for Boxing Day fixture

- HTAFC Fan Memorial planned for Preston game
- A chance to remember Town fans lost in 2015
- Email before 17 December 2015

Huddersfield Town is giving supporters the chance to remember their loved ones who have passed away during 2015 at the Sky Bet Championship game against Preston North End on Saturday 26 December 2015.

Before kick-off and at half time in Town’s final home game of the year, the Big Screen will display images of those supporters who are sadly no longer with us.

Huddersfield Town’s Supporter Partnerships Manager Robyn Deegan commented:

“The Club ran the Fan Memorial for the first time last season and it was received very well by the home and away supporters on that day.

“As the year draws to a close, it will be the perfect time to reflect and remember all those Town fans we have sadly lost.”

If you know of a Town fan who has passed away during the last 12 months who you would like to be remembered in this way, please send an email including the person’s name, a good quality photo of them in JPEG format and a maximum of 20 accompanying words to robyn.deegan@htafc.com.

Please note that, depending on available space, the text is subject to editing.

The images and text will be displayed on the Big Screen at the Preston game on Saturday 26 December and will be printed in the ‘Give Us An H’ match day programme.

The deadline for inclusion will be on Thursday 17 December at 5pm; please note that regrettably any emails received after this deadline will not be included.

There will also be a minute's applause ahead of kick-off to mark the occasion.
