OPEN DAY MAKES £3,250 FOR FOUNDATION

21 August 2013

Money raised by Fire Station and Barclays Bank

Club Partner West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, with the help of Barclays Bank, raised £3,250 for the Town Foundation through its open day at Huddersfield on Saturday 29 June.

£1,750 came from proceeds of the Open Day whereas Barclays Bank, who assisted on the day as part of their on-going commitment to the community, has match-funded the event to the tune of a further £1,500!

Stuart Ambler of Barclays Bank and Anthony Williams and Jean Gledhill of Huddersfield Fire Station, watched by firefighters from Huddersfield Station, came down to the Stadium to present the cheques to the Foundation’s Corporate Fundraising Officer Mandy Taylor.
